U.S. Special Operations Command contract to n~Ask for spy lightweight satellite

n~Ask Inc. aerospace company from Virginia has been awarded a $7,8 million contract for spy lightweight satellite in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

n~Ask Inc., was awarded a $7,8 million contract for demonstration of a prototype, modular intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance small-satellite in support of USSOCOM, according to a statement put out by U.S. Department of Defense.

The Department of Defense also added that the work will be performed primarily at the n~Ask Colorado facility. The period of performance is scheduled to run through September 2020.

n~ask deploys personnel globally for on-site software development and analytics; supporting satellite, airborne, and terrestrial environments. The company designed and developed the applications that form the basis for most of the geolocation platforms currently in use in the community.
