First and foremost id appreciate any help and want to apologize for any grammatical errors as im typing this on my phone. Id like to please ask to refrain from any smart-a** or condescending answers as its really not necessary to beat me while im down but if thats what you gotta do to feel better do what you gotta do. I'll try to keep this as short and as little confusing as i can possibly make it so bare with me. I am new to the Military. Joined in January of 2021. Completed my technical training, left, arrived home 1st day of June and was supposed to be home about 10 or so days. Unfortunately i had gotten covid and with me hassling my tech school and sponsor from current base i wasnt able to get a confirmed ship out date to my gaining base till August 2021. Now, im negative on leave. VERY negative on leave. As much as id like to pay back the money i received and simply receive my leave back, it doesnt seem like something i can really do because i may have used some of the money for stupid stuff but most of it was helping my wife pay her half of the rent and help pay school bills. So in short, i dont want to give a sob story but i really cant afford paying whatever i received back. Is there any thing i can possibly do? Or am i stuck with no leave for a very, very long time?
