I am specifically referring to the US Army Special Forces (Green Berets) and the British Special Boat Service.

It seems that whenever there is a movie, tv show or video game that has a character or multiple characters that are active or retired special forces personnel, they are either Navy Seals, Marine Force Recon or Marine Raiders (Marsoc), Delta Force or British SAS.
