So I hear from friends who are in the military and from posts that pay gets missed up, and this just kinda confuses me and please correct this civilian if he's wrong.
When your in the military your pay is based upon the following factors:
- Your rank
- Your time in service
- Your location (I.E for BAH or OHA, COLA)
- Any special duty pay (Jump pay, sea pay, combat pay, hazard pay, whatever)
So it seems A + B + C + E = Your pay
Its not complicated...and I say this as a commissioned sales person whose pay plan is two pages long, and various from month to month and my payroll hardly ever screws up and when they do its generally very minor.
