Let's exclude nuclear weapons in this scenario, keeping the size of the forces involved in the conflict but with modern equipment such as drones, satellites, fighter jets and cyber warfare...how different would the conflict be?

Apologies if this is a stupid question but I am genuinely interested in learning how warfare and tactics have evolved since the 1945. Obviously nukes changed things forever but if they somehow were never created and we still managed to arrive to the exact same reality we currently inhabit, how would vast field armies operate with attack helicopters and modern tanks?
