I got rejected :(

Posted by /u/CherryBlackEyes on

I just spent 5 days in a vigorous psychological, group tasks, and interview oriented process for selection as an officer in the Indian Army (called SSB)

I was amazed that out of 95, i was one of the 24 selected for the final stage. But in the end, only 1 got selected out of my batch and it wasnt me.

A friend of my dad's is part of the selection board- he was not taking part due to the conflict of interest but was monitoring my progress. He said that the final remarks were "High leadership potential. Highly intelligent. But tends to question authority." And he said that this trait showed up in all 3 tests. So yeah, heading back home ina bus all sad now.
