I'm a 25 year old, broke, living with my parents. I really want to start my own online business, but need to put myself in a financial position where I am capable of doing so, and I really don't want to mooch off my parents any longer. I need to get out of their house. I also need to gain discipline, and get into better shape so that I have the willpower and energy to actually build the business. I'm considering joining the Air Force for 4 years, since that's about the time it would take to get a business off the ground, and it will give me decent pay, housing, get me into shape, give me discipline, etc. I also have been told that the Air Force will give small business loans as well. It'd be a hell of a lot better to take advantage of these resources now rather than having to save up and pay rent, utilities, food, healthcare, car payment, having to sacrifice to have a social life, possibly having to couch surf or moving back in with my parents while struggling, not being able to eat out or go out, or travel (also a big reason why I'd like to join the military), not being able to afford a gym, probably having to work two jobs just to support myself, while all my free time goes toward my business...

I have some concerns about being deployed to a country where I can't bring equipment I might need, or have an internet connection, and having it totally disrupt what I'm trying to build. I also need to know how much time I expect to have to spend working each day, because I will need some time to put toward the business (but if it's standard full time, then that'd be fine.) I'm aware the Air Force grants some good vacation time though, so that helps.
