Nearly all of my civilian's friends have lost their jobs, if your thinking about getting out now you might wanna reconsider

So 22 million Americans have filled for unemployment, nearly every single one of my civilian friends have been let go from their jobs unless it was healthcare related. And even if it the situation improves in the next few months its going take years for us to get back to where we were.
If I was in the military and ETSing in the next 6 months with plans of leaving the military I'd be looking to sign the shortest term contract I could and stay in. If you could get a 2, 3, or 4 yr contract you can ride out this shit storm and still keep a paycheck being deposited into your account and a roof over your head.
IMHO now is not the time to get out.
Only thing I would say is if your getting med boarded or retiring and your income from the military is enough to support you without any other income.
