Question on US armed forces traditions
Posted on
Not american, but seen my fair share of US historical war or armed forces movies and series, and in some of these, we can see a culture of forced or coerced marks or tattoos. Is it (still) a thing?
Is it true that the USMC started out of a bar/pub?
Does a marine has to know all of its traditions and historical dates by heart or he will get hazed 'to death'?
What are well know hazings done in the different branches?
Thank you for for inspiring amazing movies by the way, even if some are farfetched.
