Seriously, what gives? Is it some kind of marketing scheme because the named "Destroyer" just sounds cooler and they think Congress will be more likely to get behind it if they give it a cool name? Why can't we just be real with ourselves here and just make normal cruisers? Why does every new surface ship have to either be a carrier or a destroyer? :P
