So I am trying to enlist in the National Guard and I’ve been waiting for my waiver for 2 or so months. The waiver is a very easy one. It’s to just get my Previous Service approved.

In March of 2019 I received a new upgraded DD-214 after the Air Force found my discharge was given for a misdiagnosis during basic training and I received an new discharge with an RE3K and got my RE4C changed which allows me to re-enlist, no problem. But I just called my recruiter today and asked if anything came up and he said the system still says I have an RE-4C and JFW instead of my new one. He said he has my new discharge and they are trying to fix it but doesn’t know how long it’ll take. I’ve been in the process since August by now.

Is there any way I could contact the Review Board and discuss the system problem? Or would I have to go another route? Should I probably just wait and see if they’re able to figure it out?
