Rogue Warrior vs Inside Delta Force
Posted on
I have read both book. I have always been aware DEVGRU and Delta Force are very similar in many ways.
But after reading both book, I was shocked by how different the books are.
Seal Team 6 seems like a bunch of wild hard partying hoogans who can barley be trusted.
Richard Marcinko seems pretty psychopath. He always seems to almost enjoy killing enemies and making others feel inferior. I can’t remember of a time where he show any sort of emotion or feel for others.
Delta Force seems to be as professional as ones can get and genuinely wants the best for everybody including their own enemies. But will not hesitate to take action if necessary.
Eric Hanley seems like a real gentleman with good head in his shoulders. Definitely someone I’d much rather to have come and rescue me!
May I ask why are those two cultures so different? What made them the way they are? And if possible... Have anyone ever met or knew of anyone who met or been around those two writers? And what are they like?
