About a month ago, I received expedited orders for an PCS in a number of months and have a lease that is about to terminate.

I also have a spouse that I've recently added who is not on my orders yet.

I would like to renew the lease (for close to a year) mostly to receive a lower rent but also for the added benefit of being able to have the lease longer in the event that my RNLTD is postponed (or orders cancelled).

Based on the wording of the SCRA, I understand I can only break a lease penalty free if I receive orders after I enter it. Question is: would there be a protection for me to break the lease early once my spouse is added, and it would be determined that we PCS on time?
