Tattoo honoring Grandfather question.
Posted on
Figure this would be the best place to ask.
My grandfather was part of the 7th armored division during WW2, he sadly passed away 3 years before I was born, I never got to meet him, but I was the only grandchild who took intrest in his service and the like. Have whats left of his medals, paperwork, and his internment flag.
To my question, I had a possible idea of getting a tattoo honoring him, with it being the emblem of the 7th armored division. Would this be offensive or inappropriate?
I'm not stupid or gauche enough to run around claiming I served as the 7th armored hasnt been active since Korea.
