DAF celebrated the 75th Anniversary of Air and Space heritage in September 2022 and commissioned the art to help tell the stories of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force.

The First Flight Society recently hosted a celebration recognizing the 119th anniversary of the first powered and controlled flight, the 75th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force and the induction of Gen. Benjamin O. Davis Jr. into the Paul E. Garber First Flight Shrine. The event took place at the Wright Brothers’ National Memorial, North Carolina.

In celebration of the Air Force’s 75th anniversary, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command partnered with the Southeast Region Little League during its annual youth baseball tournament at Warner Robins, Aug. 3-9.

Former Air Force leaders visited Nellis Air Force Base to connect Airmen and Guardians with their living heritage as well as to provide mentorship, advice and encouragement to those currently serving in uniform during the the Air and Space Forces Association’s Air Force 75th Anniversary Legends tour.

The Air Force Cycling team is riding in the 2022 Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa.

Airmen and aircraft from all over the globe, including the highest military and civilian leaders from the U.S. Air and Space Forces, came together for the event.
