128th ARW provides air bridge in support of Air Defender 2023

The 128th ARW KC-135 Stratotankers acted as a flying gas station, using a boom system to transfer fuel to the receiving aircraft, maximizing operational efficiency and reducing transit times.

Kingsley Field to host F-35A Formal Training Unit

The DAF plans to convert the F-15C Eagle Formal Training Unit at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Oregon, into a third F-35A Lightning II FTU.
The F-35 Lightning II makes its first appearance at Luke Air Force Base on March 10. The aircraft was flown in directly from the Lockheed Martin factor at Fort Worth, Tex., and is the first of 144 F-35s that will eventually be assigned to the base. “Having F-35s at Luke ensures the long-term viability of our mission and safeguards the long-term presence of the base as a community partner and an economic engine in the West Valley,” Col. ANG wings train at Operation Hoodoo Sea

Five Air National Guard wings recently conducted agile combat training during Operation Hoodoo Sea along the southeast U.S. coast.    The exercise, led by the Virginia ANG, sought to test and validate minimum force elements using multi-capable Airmen executing functions across job specialties and multiple platforms.
