On Dec. 11, 2019, about 110 trainees with the 321st Training Squadron received the computers as part of a six-month Cooperative Research and Development Agreement beta test designed to test adaptive and personalized learning in the basic military training setting.

The program will provide the same services as it did in the past, and at no cost. It may be accessed 24/7 by all Air Force civilian personnel (APF and NAF), Guard/Reserve and family members.

A team of human performance experts is looking at sleep and fatigue from several perspectives. They are tracking sleep habits in pilots and other operators, while also evaluating sleep-monitoring technology to ensure its accuracy and ability to work in an operational setting.
