Did you know that 2007, 1 in every 3 homeless Americans was a veteran? The Samaritan Village, is a state funded homeless shelter for veteran's with addictions. Watch this video of a veteran that was greatly affected when a good friend and fellow soldier was shot during war. This tragedy sent him in a downward spiral towards alcoholism, robbery, and homelessness, but he later found refuge at the Samaritan Village!

In the last three years, we as a country have decreased veteran homelessness by 24 percent. Even so, the goal remains to end veteran homelessness entirely.
