The Central Military Commission of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) released images of mountain offensive operation drill when Chinese soldiers used flamethrower.

A flamethrower operator assigned to a brigade with the PLA Army 75th Combined Corps uses a flamethrower to ignite a controlled fire to burn down the simulated targets during the mountain offensive operation drill at a training range in southern Yunnan on Sept. 22, 2017, PRC said in the report.

The flamethrower is a mechanical incendiary device designed to project a long, controllable stream of fire. The minimal recoil of the flamethrower, can according to the standing waist shot, suitable for cleaning trench battles, as users can maneuver like a submachine gun.

The Chinese Army resorting to a flamethrower to weed out terrorists hiding in a cave.

This is not the first time Chinese forces have been called in to use flamethrowers against an ‘aggressive’ force. The PLA was previously called in to deal with a hornets’ nest, as the insects were terrorizing a village.

A few blasts of fire from the flamethrowers were enough to deal with the giant nest, which was some 30 meters off the ground and impossible to dispose of manually.
