New Ukrainian weapons passed testing at the firing ground of the Armed Forces

New Ukrainian weapons – manufactured by UKROBORONPROM enterprises- participants – passed another testing at the firing ground of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kyiv.
82-mm mortars from KBA-48M1 “CB artillery” M-120-15, produced by SE “Design Bureau “Artillery Armament”, “Molot” M-120-15 , 120 and 60-mm caliber mortar, produced in accordance with NATO standards by PJSC “Plant “Mayak”, as well as a variety of small arms – including large-caliber sniper rifles – were engaged in the range practice, held on November 11.
Deputies, members of the Committee on National Security, including the former commander of the battalion “Dnepr-1” Yuriy Bereza and representatives of the Defense Ministry – who noted the high quality of Ukrainian weapons – were present during the testing.
Ukrainian journalists were also present at the proving ground, unfortunately, authors of critical, though lacking professionalism materials, didn’t show up.
UKROBORONPROM SE “Kyiv Armored Plant” – in an initiative manner -developed the combat module “Vij”, together with privately-owned enterprises. It can be mounted on light armored vehicles, including “Dozor-B”, greatly increasing the firepower of these vehicles
The use of 23-mm GS-23 gun contributes to a high rate of fire – 3000 rounds per minute, that is 50 projectiles per second. This is one of the main features of “Vij”.
