Russian Ministry of Defense handed over the first hovercraft «Pardus»

«Central Design Bureau” Neptune »(St. Petersburg) reported that May 26, 2015 has passed the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the first in a series of hovercraft project «Pardus».

Housing hovercraft “Pardus” completely made of composite materials that provide waterproof loop and high strength of the vessel, as well as heat and sound insulation.

Two separately controlled variable pitch propellers in nozzles provide improved handling and maneuverability.

The boat has a length of 10.6 meters, width 5.7 meters, height of 0.6 meters soaring, seating up to 15 people, the crew consists of one person. As the power plant uses two diesel engines rated at 150 hp
