Turkish firm Katmerciler Araç Üstü Ekipman Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ has won a tender by the local government to delivery another 50 4×2 truck based TOMA-type riot control vehicles for the country’s Police force (Türk Polisi) and eventuallyfor the Turkish Gendarmerie (Türk Jandarma)

The vehicle which is based on Mercedes-Benz Atego 1829K heavy truck is equiped with remote controlled water cannon, communications and cameras. The company earlier delivered comprehensive number of riot control vehicles to Turkish homeland security agencies and to foreign nations.
