I just got mine in the mail. When I open it the lid SLAMS open so hard that it just about flips itself backwards.

The piston is assisting it open, and then the last 20% of the motion is uninhibited and slams open. Makes sense?

Bolting it down is not an option

Do all of these slam open like this or is it a defect?
