i have a relatively severe peanut allergy that could be deadly, among other mild allergies such as shell fish, tree nuts, maybe a few more

i’ve never had a real allergic reaction before though, i have a epipen but i’ve never used it before. i can be around it just fine it’s just when i consume it is a problem

then again is been like 5 years sense i have been tested for allergies, i could’ve outgrown out of some of them like i did for egg. i should be tested in a few months

i learned today that it’s a disqualifier, how likely will i be able to get a waiver? i really want to serve after high school but this would be the one thing holding me back and that would really fucking suck

I want to join the Coast guard, but i’d go any branch minus the marines if it means i’ll get a waiver
