Just talked to a US army recruiter this afternoon to begin my enlistment process. Anyway, I'm a US citizen who graduated with a Bachelor's degree in the Philippines. I always wanted to the join the US military as an officer. But, I decided to enlist than go OCS right now because of my appallingly low GPA of 1.5. Overtime during my college years, I became unhappy with my course and went YOLO back then. I only took my studies seriously on my last year and did good. I feel like it'd be a waste of time to bother applying for OCS if they won't consider me seriously. Should I bother trying OCS with my 1.5 GPA? I want to join the US military asap as my plans were delayed by 2 years due to COVID. That's why I decided to enlist. I'm not getting any younger.
