I’m 22 years old and I’ve been wanting to join the army/marines but I always thought that my self harm scars would cause me to not qualify. I’ve self harmed when i was 14 and I haven’t done or thought about it ever since and I realized it was a stupid decision and that I shouldn’t have done that. I’m completely fine physically, mentally, and have been for years so would I still be able to qualify if i’m honest about it? They’re still visible but they don’t bother or mess with me in any way.
