Probably not a popular practice I'm sure, but I've recently been emailed by an administrator that the ceremony is required. I do not like ceremony, my command team just changed out and those responsible for my promotion have been gone for two years now. Aside from that I final out from my current duty station in a week. I see no reason for a ceremony and at this point it's a nuisance.

Am I missing something? Is their some hidden reg that says I must have a ceremony?
