I have a question for any JAG/MP/MPI/CID out there.

What are the legal limits MPs/MPIs have when requiring me to fully fill out this form after taking a statement from me? Several pilots (WOs and DACs) they had some jackass shoot a firework at them and they all made statements and filled out the basic required info on the data sheet. The MPI investigating is telling me if they don’t fill out every single block, 1-50 he would charge them with misdemeanor for hampering an investigation. And, if they deicide to withdraw their statement, that too would result in a misdemeanor charge.
