Hello everyone, I got an email from the pentagon today saying that I am being separated because I exceeded the max time in grade for 2LT. I commissioned directly in the reserves in 2019. I deferred BOLC until I finished my masters degree so didn’t go until the 2.5 year mark. I still haven’t been promoted to 1LT and every time I ask my unit about they say it just happens automatically and comes from top and they can’t help me. Can anyone tell me what’s going on? Also, if I separated do I have to pay my college scholarship back? Thank you for the help
