My fiancée and I are getting married mil-to-mil this summer, and I’m super excited about being able to come home to my person every day whenever we get those PCS orders. Long distance has been kinda tough. Also looking forward to the double BAH to help build back our savings. They’ve taken a hit with us taking four trips in total over the past year to see each other and our parents, with $2800 on flights and $600 on gas. (Just one more $700 flight and $300 on gas for the fifth and final trip for the special day) Here’s to hoping we make rank next year and keep getting those savings up. We’ve also always found that we’re more consistent with chores and workouts when we’re together, so we’re excited for the boost in productivity (resilient and multi-capable Airmen who?) as well. They also finally got her an MRI this month for a back injury she got back in December so I’m excited to see her get the treatment she needs. Thought I’d share the happy news as I’m an enjoyer of vicarious happiness myself.
