Although I did up having to use emergency leave unfortunately, my work center and squadron/group leadership definitely helped me out. I was able to get a DEROS extension and a RNLTD extension to my new base. My flight was able to help me out my doing a lot of my out processing through a POA and my losing commander emailed my gaining commander to help explain my situation. I know some people have probably had negative experiences, but I just want to say that there are work centers and leadership teams out there that do really care for you.
