CSAF and SECAF have both sent memos to the force saying they encourage the Air Force to let go of policies that slow us down and encourage innovative practices, even if it means breaking some eggs.

Meanwhile, Chief Bass and the other service SELs are getting their jollies off about the enlisted force not meeting “standards” and they want us senior enlisted to tighten things up. Even 19 AF/CCC has a new slogan “SNCOs, stop leading Airmen! Start leading NCOs and let NCOs lead Airmen.”

I get it, but y’all need to get on one sheet of music. Meanwhile I’m gonna get the mission done and we’ll continue sacrificing or reviving standards on a case by case basis.
