Accelerate Change

I've been thinking on this since the SECAF email. In most of the sections I've been in, the majority of people are more than willing to challenge norms and find new ways of doing things if they improve efficiency. One of the main hurdles I'm seeing that is getting in the way of accelerating change is that we literally have no time to fail. My section is down manning, funds and are acquiring on...

Graduated BMT a few weeks ago, and apparently I might have to do a sens skills while I’m here in tech school, which I guess is for security clearances (because SS is what that was for in BMT at least). I was talking to my roommate because he is engaged, and I mentioned I have a partner too. My partner is Russian by birth, and now lives in the United States. She doesn’t have a citizenship (yet). I was able to get a DEROS extension and a RNLTD extension to my new base. My flight was able to help me out my doing a lot of my out processing through a POA and my losing commander emailed my gaining...

My questions are
Does my ocs application carry over from the Navy to different branches? Or do i have to go through it again from the start IF i decide to go USAF.

Applying at Lockheed after Air Force
Posted on
I got medically retired after breaking my leg as a battlefield Airman. As soon as I got out I finished my degree from start to finish in 2.5 years with a 3.7 gpa. Been working for ClubCorp as a manager type since I have got out. I recently applied to Lockheed because I want to challenge myself and join a new mission. I applied for a project management role and I am wondering if any fellow Airman...
