I work at target part time for sales and I get questions like “did you kill anyone?” Or “I thought marines is just infantry?” . What the hell, do people out there know Marine Corps as a whole is not just infantry or recon? Sorry just venting here

Vet Need assistance/info bedridden

Simply put I'm a 40% disabled vet. I tweaked my back whereas I'm bedridden and can barely get up to use the restroom due to a stabbing pain every time I stand. I've had past surgery to fix this and now it's all back at me full circle. Went to the local ER and was more or less given pills and sent on my way. I personally have only been out fora little less then a year but still find my self using a lot of the slang from the military in my day to day life. “Tracking” is probably the one I use the most and the only reason I even noticed I still use it is because when I was talking to my mother the other day she pointed out that I say it a lot.

I’m doing some research about how to go about paying for my degree, and obviously I’m going to use the GI bill.

But, can I study in a non stem degree and then apply for the STEM extension if I get accepted to medical school?

I’ve been through the VA system and community care, I’ve tried everything you could possibly think of.

Recently a severe episode of depression and a anhedonia has consumed me. Numb, and extremely hard to find the happiness I’ve had from time to time. It’s been 4 weeks now and I’m starting to lose hope.
