Long time lurker first post. Was in the Corps from 2001 to 2011 and just filed my first claim a few weeks ago. Working with VSO my intent to file was June 11th 2021. After the year of covid I got all the necessary paperwork and evidence for a pretty strong claim. Filed on June 9 2022. Is backpay calculated to your intent to file date or is it from when you file? Or neither? Little clarification would be great.
