I have tinnitus, I am a combat veteran (oif1/2 & “oef”). Anyone that knows anything about the marine corps or even the military. You are always attached to something. I was assigned to “oef” as part going to Kuwait while waiting for Oif 1 to “kick off”. I’m today years old and it took me this long to realize this. Unfortunately that’s part of being a “boot” and just doing what your told. No explanation….blah blah blah. In my opinion this is the hardest part of explain shot to the va years later (for me 19 years later)

Anyways….. I have service connected tinnitus and have recently filed for migraines as a secondary off that. While going through a hlr for ptsd that gets denied for “reasons”(lack of proper planning and due diligiance).

What all do I need to service connect as a secondary. Either my migraines, which happen for sure 1-4 times a month while my tinnitus is at it worse, happen because of my ptsd (which isn’t service connected yet) or because of my tinnitus. Also it could be aggravated because of my tinnitus. However or whatever it is, what do I need to submit evidence wise to ensure I have the best chance of a rating and not a denial.
