I swear it’s just smoke and mirrors. Wants the point of making VERA available to the veterans just to tell them the same scripted line every time when they call? On top of that they almost always have a nasty attitude towards us almost as if they despise us or we are ruining their day calling. Isn’t that why they get paid? The only helpful ones I ever come across are also veterans. The VA wants to act like they care about veteran suicides but they make the claims process absolutely torturous with the lack of transparency and how they treat us. THEY fucked us up. I would love to be healthy again. They expose us to harms. We all agreed to the harms that could happen that are expected with being in the military, but they love to gaslight us about our injuries that are unseen or pretend they haven’t messed 90% of us up. I’m so sick of political leaders and the VA. If this was them in our shoes, things would be changed tomorrow.
