I am planning on enlisting in the Air Force in January. I plan on becoming a language analyst and signing a six year contract. I am looking into education benefits which is really exciting. Many top universities have programs that are designated for veterans to enroll in their universities. I am interested in studying economics and mathematics at a top 50 school. From my understanding I would enroll in a community college while enlisted, perform well, and apply as a transfer student for the term that would line up with my resignation from the Air Force. Is this correct? What would ideal candidates have on their resume to maximize chances of being selected. I would like to start working towards this goal upon enlistment. Thank you!
