Looking at my LES I noticed my federal withholdings are like 500 dollars lower YTD than what they were by this time last year. Barely any federal being taken out as compared to last year. Like 170$ difference per month. Any ideas why this is happening? Should I have more deducted and can I do this in my pay with the edit tool in the federal withholding window? Lots of Qs I know but I didnt intentionally change anything myself and just looked and noticed how small amount is being taken and I dont want to owe come next year. Any tidbits of info is appreciated TIA
