Need help dealing with airman and NCOIC as an NCO
Posted on
I have an airman who’s having hardship problems back home (loved one is passing away from illness and doesn’t have much longer left). NCOIC decided that they want to move the airman from the shift the old NCOIC moved them to because of this problem so they could talk with them before they pass away, to a complete opposite shift where they won’t be able to communicate back home. I’ve tried talking with the NCOIC in the past about other problems and they told me piss off since i’m not the NCOIC. How can I help the airman in this situation? Worst thing I would want for them is they can’t talk to their loved one before they pass especially since we’re on a 6 on 1 off schedule and have that NCOIC ruin their Air Force experience. They’re a bright airman who seems like would definitely stay in but this might be the line crosser for them.
