Biased Downvoting During Discussions On Military History?

Posted on November 21, 2019

I've noticed that a ton of people get downvoted in topics about military history. It's not the usual trolling that's get DV'ed into oblivion either. One discussion about the Six Day War had people who pointed out that Israel struck first getting the downvotes. It wasn't that they were spamming with r/conspiracy links or being antisemitic, it was just people pointing out that Israel initiated the war.

There is a good discussion that can be had on the topic, as Israel's oil supply had been interrupted by Egypt. But Japan's oil supply had been interrupted by the US prior to the attack on Pear Harbor, and rarely do people blame the hostilities on the US.
