Depression has no rank.

Las year we had a homecoming/Christmas party. As unit parties go, it was actually pretty fun. We had potluck food, catered food, a diy cookies station, little party presents, A Santa. Ya know, all the fixings.
One guy, a SFC, was there in a present suit. A suit colored like a Christmas present. He was a great guy, always making sure the event was running smoothly, stepping up for this and that. Great guy in the unit, great guy outside of the unit.
He committed suicide a day later.
Blindsided his family and left his children fatherless.
Whatever your rank is, I dont care if your an E1 Airman Basic or a crusty ass E9 Command Sergeant Major. A newly minted O1 or a couple months from Ft. Couch O10. WO1 to WO5.
You are not out of line to ask if someone is okay.
You need to check on your battles. Your joes. Your coworkers. Your Line Sergeants, your boss, whoever.
Please. Do it. You really could save a life.
