Receiving the flag at my Granfathers funeral. Need advice
Posted on
I’m a veteran. My grandfather(retired Air Force) passed last week. Funeral is at DFW National Cemetery. My family wants me to receive the burial flag. What is the etiquette for a veteran in civilian clothes in this situation. Do I salute when flag is being folded? I know veterans can salute the flag now. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
