Mail Delivery at Lackland

I’m curious how many currently at Lackland AFB didn’t receive letters, cards and packages family sent you in time for boot camp graduation, Thanksgiving or Christmas? What’s the mail process there - does USPS deliver to the base? Or is USPS onthe base? Twice I’ve sent my Airman packages (with time to spare, guaranteed by USPS to arrive priority mail) and they’ve been late, locked up for long...
Can someone tell me what those are?

Help finding veteran history for family member

I was looking through old pictures with my sister the other day and came across photos of her husband’s dad being in the army in the 60s.
My brother in laws dad passed around 2002-2003 and never really talked about his service, just like anyone else around that time.
The photo is in his service uniform and he appeared to have a personal award that looked similar to the current MSM.
