Using tricare post EAS/ Surgery VA questions
Posted on
Hey so i EAS'ed last week and dis-located my right shoulder 4 times in the 4 years i was in. I had a surgery to fix it in the middle of the 4 dislocations and was scheduled to get a 2nd in march but it got cancelled due to covid. I ended up dislocating the same arm a few days ago and had to go to the ER to get it put back in (always have had to, my body/muscles fight it going in and all 5 times ive had to be sedated).
I submitted my claim to the va last week for my shoulder with the VFW but they said be prepared for a long process and i cant really afford a long process with how unstable my shoulder is. I feel like the answers 100% no but just wondering if id be able to use the 4 months of tricare i have right now for surgery? Kind of by passing the VA's bullshit? Im scared of not only fucking up my shoulder more but hurting it after november when i have no insurance
