Where the fuck did this come from???

So this is an interesting story sorta? So I'm a 91H (track mechanic) in the Army we were in Germany. As we are getting parts for our motorpool we bump into something familiar an engine. I was like "wtf?", "sarnt are supposed to have an engine?". Sgt looks at me like if i were on crack or something and he replied "no wtf?, what makes you say that?". I said "come here and look for yourself". We look at the serial numbers, and sure enough it's an entire new engine. So now we get chief and asked him if we were supposed to get an engine??? He's like DAFUQ AN ENGINE?!?!?! Yeah for the Bradley's right? We head over to where we placed it inside our bays and we stare at it for a minute kinda scratching our heads like "where in the fuck did this come from?". We didn't seal back into the container because we had a sense that the second we finish sealing it, BOOM a phone call (it never happened). An entire 6 months go by and NO ONE bats an eye that a new engine appeared out of nowhere. The closest to an instance like that was when someone asked if we had a new Bradley engine. We were like "yyyyyeeeeaaahhh... Why?" They said ok and that was it. Never got a call or anything like that it's being over a year now inaide a Bradley because maybe something happened in the field that we weren't supposed to do and we fucked it up.
