So my main aim is PJ but I am definitely not currently physically prepare currently. I was wondering if it would make more sense to go into the Marines as an infantryman (doesn't seem like Marines have a medic MOS) or Army as a 68w (F2 if it's available). Combat medics do also train rigorously but the physical standards in the Marines are much higher. It would also give me a head start in regards to medical training. Marine infantryman would keep me in much better physical shape and also give me combat experience before trying out for PJs. Anyone have any knowledge or suggestions that would help?
